What we do

Waves Ahead is a strategic partnership for Adur and Worthing. The Partnership, non-statutory since 2010, is made up of key interested parties from the public and private sectors, community, voluntary and faith-based groups and local residents. The aim is to work more effectively through collaboration, adding value to local initiatives, projects and ideas.

Thematic Partnerships of Waves Ahead meet quarterly, as does the Executive Board.  Each autumn there is an annual conference of the wider membership of the Waves Ahead. During the year, anyone who is actively involved in projects related to the work of the Partnership can link into that work through a member of one of the thematic partnerships or through an Executive Board member.

The Executive Board, which includes the chairs of the thematic partnerships, acts as a platform for accountability and support, and as a place for board members to share learning and best practice and discuss cross-cutting strategic and systemic issues.

Please explore this site for further information on the Thematic Partnerships and Executive Board, including their membership and terms of reference and the minutes of their meetings. You can also find our most recent Annual Report, with the reports for earlier years available in downloadable PDF files.
